On Friday, December 21, the prison theatre in Messina (Gazzi) hosted Alice Di Piazza, an internationally renowned Sicilian pianist.

It was the second performance promoted by the Messina Filarmonica Laudamo and by the Associazione D’arteventi in Gazzi prison.

Surrounded by an intimate and appealing atmosphere, Alice Di Piazza played pieces from Brahms and Schuman. She has also benevolently accompanied the poetry reading from a group of inmates.
